Celebrity makeup artist Theresa Francine eats sleeps and breathes makeup. Always seeking perfection, her passion, drive and enthusiasm keep her in demand. The highly sought-after makeup artist creates facial masterpieces using the blank canvases of brides, runway models and celebrities alike. As a child Theresa sought outlets for her creative expression and artistry, often experimenting in her mother’s makeup and using the walls of her home as her canvas, not knowing then that makeup would be the artistic outlet she would find and pursue later in life, professionally in her career.

The self-taught, Freeport, NY native specializes in clean makeup application, as well as makeup for; fashion editorial, beauty, runway, bridal, advertising and television. Her clients come from all walks of life with one desire, to have their natural beauty enhanced and perfected, a task Theresa Francine has mastered. “Enhancing natural beauty without exaggerating is what I enjoy most,” she says. Her professional makeup career began in 2004 with her first retail cosmetic job at Bare Escentuals cosmetic company. Through years of working for various beauty and cosmetic brand leaders including; MAC, Benefit and Dior Cosmetics she gained a superb aptitude for classic technique and familiarity with products and mastered what she’s known most for, “the natural clean face.” Her retail background opened doors to her full time freelance career beginning in 2006 when she was asked to work alongside a photographer in New York City for her first professional photo shoot.

With a career in the beauty industry spanning almost a decade now, Theresa has worked on countless photo shoots with noted photographers; Jamie Nelson, Filippo Del Vita, Christel B., Aurora Crowley, Brenden Burdzinski, Eric Hason, Lenox Fontaine, Whelan Bryce, You Bin Mark Gong, and Andrea Thompson.  Her bright disposition, well honed skills and contagious smile have made her a favorite among celebrities including; Comedian Steve Harvey, Gospel duo Mary Mary, Supermodel Sessilee Lopez, Grammy Award winning group, The Roots and Hip-Hop artist Q-Tip to name a few. Theresa doesn’t focus solely on a “beat” face, she also works to make her clients feel beautiful and attractive inside to match the outward appearance.

Theresa’s work has graced the pages of Cosmopolitan Magazine (Germany), Vanidades Magazine, Desirs Magazine, Zink Magazine, L’Officiel Magazine, Vision Magazine (China), Poster Magazine, Gala Magazine (Germany), Fashion Journal Magazine, M (Makeup) Magazine, Industry Magazine, Razor Red Magazine and Prim Magazine. Catwalks are crawling with models each season featuring faces made up by Theresa Francine. Some of her noted shows include; New York Fashion Week heavy weights: Mik Cire 2010, Eva Minge 2010 and Naomi Campbell’s Fashion for Relief Haiti Fashion Show during New York Fashion Week 2010. Other noted events; Dior New York Presbyterian Fashion Show 2011, Fashion’s Night Out -Macy’s Herald Square 2011, and many others. In addition, Theresa is often tapped for her makeup expertise for television. Her current television credits include; TBN’s Praise the Lord, Fox 5; Good Day New York, BET’s 106 and Park, The Wendy William’s Show and BET’s Black Girls Rock 2011.
